Yeah, that should be his most likely destination. As a DC.

Watch he'll go to the Eagles...(random with an educated guess)

If I was with the Eagles it would be hard not to be calling him up right now asking him to come on as a consultant, and then take over the job as DC heading into next year.

basically, their current DC is a joke... out of his element.

Their DC is a joke but so is their defense. They only have DEs and CBs. They are below average at LB, DT, and safety.

Yeah, the report said that he wanted to sell the team to someone who was passionate about football in Jacksonville. Now, certainly the new owner may want to keep the team there today, but everything can change once he starts dealing with day-to-day issues.

San Antonio wouldn't be a bad place, but the alamodome is 20 years old... which is already significantly out of date in how stadiums age. I imagine some of their fans would want to have their own hometown team, but it also has to be really tough to get people to drop the Cowboys for the new San Antonio team.

Jerry Jones would do everything in his power to ensure that that idea doesn't come to fruition.

I agree. At first I thought he might let it slide if the Jags stayed in the AFC, but I don't think he'd want another team competing for fans from the same state.

Aside from all that, didn't the Texans have an incredibly hard time pulling fans away from the Cowboys to root for them? Just like the Oilers had a tough time keeping fans from switching to the Cowboys?

You're forgetting that St Louis Rams is an NFC team and the Jags are an AFC team... The Cheifs might be the one who get's re-assigned

That's true. For some reason my mind was in that if the Jags moved to LA they would've been in the NFC. Don't know why I just that it would switch conferences.

But yes KC would be my guess for the subsitution.

I've been to a Cowboys game and Texans game over this season and last. The Texan fans seemed far more passionate than the Cowboys. I guess that's not really surprising though. Texan fans have a chip on their shoulder due to how big the Cowboys are in the state.

Also, Reliant Stadium > Jerrydome. I don't care how much the thing cost parking was horrid and it feels more like a monument more than a sporting complex. I got pumped for the Texans vs Raiders game this year soon as I saw the stadium, and the inside of it did nothing to take away that feeling.
