We may all have different ideologies, at no fault of our own, but at the end of the day we’re all in it together

I hate circular driveways! I never know where to park as I just keep driving and driving in a circle.

Deep thought!!!

Roger Goodell is the worst NFL Commissioner of all time.

This is my effort to bring all of us together. :)

I live in Texas and the answer here is always - brisket.

Has any commissioner made more money for the league - ever! - than Jolly Roger? In fact I predict he will be in the HOF.

I least I know his name. I saw the MLB commissioner last night and wondered how long he's been going on. I would have guessed Bud Selig if someone asked.

We were spoiled with Tags. I didn’t like Roger at first but I have really warmed up to him. I feel he is doing a good job now.

Except for the destruction of the league and football

Y'all can put blinders on, but there is a whirlwind out there and it all started with Kapernick and the NFL.
Can't tell you the number of hardcore fans who say the will not watch and have already stopped enjoying the greatest game ever invented by man. Will some change their minds ? Sure. But some will not and incrementally it will damage the sport.

From todays News .........

Spike Lee calls NFL commissioner's apology excluding Colin Kaepernick 'weak'
"It was a punk move," the director said of Roger Goodell's message to players.

The movement started with Kaepernick the kneeling did not...

And in my opinion, if this affects your enjoyment of football, then the problem isn’t with the league. Too many people still believe the world revolves around them and as such believe they are entitled to be “protected” from aspects of that same world they may find offensive. That’s not how the real world operates.

I have seen far too many African Americans suffer from ideologies to care about a protest/movement ruining the game I love (because to me it is not ruining it), in which the players I root for are largely African American descent. I have taken enough history classes at the U of Iowa to realize the the unbelievable barriers the African American community had to live/go through to get where they stand in society today. I visited the African American museum in Washington DC a few years back and I am not much of a cryer, but visiting that museum really got to me. (I would recommend anyone traveling to the DC area to visit this museum, it is only about 3 years old). While things are better then they were back when guys like Jackie Robinson, Jack Trice, etc were risking their life just to play a sport they were great at and loved, we still have a LONG ways to go. These issues will always exist, sadly, but we need to come a lot further in the future then we are today to make this better and if it means using professional football to peacefully protest and point these things out.. I support it! As much as I love football, equality and being a good human is bigger than any game!
