There has been a long-standing debate about the best pizza near OSU Campus. Lots of very passionate arguments for both sides citing their memories of living on campus and getting pizza. I had never had either. Today, one of the contenders -Adriatico's - was bought for a lunch meeting. It was awful.

THE go-to pizza in Vancouver after the bars closed was Did's
It was amazing, there were line-ups down the street at 2:30am, it was something you looked forward to

I made the mistake of going there once in the daytime. ooof.

I did a lot of drinking on High Street (was across the street in Sloopy's the night Papa Joe's burned down.) I also worked multiple years in the pizza industry.

The prime counter argument was Tommy's pizza. I can say reasonably that it is probably better than adriatico's.

Tommy's is popular because it's in the shadow of the Shoe. I can count on three fingers how many times we went there to eat. Hounddogs used to be on the southeast side of campus. Loved those little pepperonis.
