I love a good pizza, and always prefer to make my own rather than buy anything near me. But when the wife and I are lazy, I am not ashamed to admit that our Pizza Hut has got their shit together and they make some damn good pizza.

Never done a cast iron, simply because it's such a pain in the ass to maintain and clean and I already have enough on my plate to add that kind of hassle.

But getting some dough, and making a chicken pesto pizza while popping open an ice cold Molson, then you know it's going to be a great night.

Actually very easy, preheat oven to 500....put pan in for ten minutes, remove, add xvoo to pan and spread with a napkin....add dough that is rolled to about 12 inches around, I add cheese first, keeps dough from getting too wet and then add sauce and toppings....back in oven for 10-12 minutes, but keep an eye on it....use a spatula to remove and rest so it doesn't ooze out.....spark up a joint and eat....cleanup is easy

I'll readily admit I was a huge Pizza Hut fan and I tried every outlet as an adult near any place I lived (haven't tried it in BC yet) and it's always let me down except that one time in Mimico it was perfect.

I would love a good Pizza Hut pizza.

I'm diabetic and the GF started getting cauliflower-based pizza crusts.

Stuff sucks. Get regular pizza and just stop by CVS for insulin

Where I draw the line and where every endocrinologist I've ever had would like me to draw the line are nowhere close to each other but I've never had one try to forbid pizza. I bet it is going to happen when I get older though

Pizza Hut is the only pizza that i had one bite of and threw away the rest.
It was in Memphis. just eight pounds of grease. so gross.

I've had it again elsewhere and it's OK.
still on the greasier side, but i do love that pan-style crust

nope.
last few times I've been out east were business trips, so pizza was not required
It's incredibly bad and yet somehow prolific all over Ontario. They own Pizza 73 too but I've never had it so don't know if it's the same.

My wife and I make it this well as well. Crust comes out great and we especially enjoy trying it over the fire in the cast iron while camping.

Yup, crust comes out fantastic.....best part......
