I had a family member visit from Pittsburgh. He couldn't believe it when I opened the pizza box and it was cut in squares.

It's okay, everyone could eat pizza in their own way. This is how the Doobster prefers to eat pizza,

Almost every night is :pizza: night for the Doobster. Usually frozen :pizza: tho. I'll take what I could get. The Doobster isn't very picky when it comes to :pizza:.

It's a long drive from Chicagoland but we've got plenty...bring the beer and knock on the door softly, my wife will get pissed if you wake her up...lol

I love some DiGiorno. But the cheap ass Jack's does the trick every once in awhile.

I like to make my own. Usually, I just use pitas for the crust, they bake up pretty similarly to pizza dough, and it takes a lot less time.

I do, however, at some point intend to make a fully from-scratch pizza. I make a decent homemade tomato sauce, so now I just need to get into making good dough.

That's the key. Once you can do that you'll never go back.

That being said I'm still pretty hit or miss when I do it. It always comes out pretty well but sometimes you just get it spot on. Nice thin crust with bubbles and still kind of chewy. I'm pretty sure it's the water content (and temperature to a degree, pun intended) that determines whether it's good or great.

Grimaldi's is supposed to open up a restaurant in El Segundo any time now - I've traveled thousands of miles before for Grimaldi's so it would be nice to have to only drive 20 to get to it now.
