This whole thread is a joke, let's look at this from the outside, honestly, did anyone expect us to make the playoffs last season? I sure as hell didn't we have so many holes to fill, on the lines both offensively and defense, I mean Orapko is looking like a bust of a draft pick, we have a horrible secondary and only really one good WR in Garcon, Moss's age is showing as is Fletcher's...
If it weren't for Griffin we wouldn't even of made the playoffs last season and you think Cousin's is gonna do better? LOL.
you're dreaming, we 1, need to STOP trading our draft picks away and 2, quit signing past there prime FA's cause it's never worked and never will.
If any QB is going to lead this team to a SB Griffin is most likely oir best hope in 20+ yrs if Shanny and Snyder and the Media and people of Washington and the surrounding areas dont run him out of town

How am I wrong j-Y19? You are defending a guy who produced one offensive TD. Its about winning games not ego. He is not 100% physically and he should not be out there

This dude is clearly a troll. No one with an IQ above the single digits would even consider starting cousins over griffin in any scenario.

Actually, I don't think dean is a troll, I think he loves the skins and wants them to succeed. What he is is very naive and my guess is very young. He refuses to acknowledge, or even read, any post that doesn't agree with him and his belief that Cousins would have won 2 of these games for us. No, he wouldn't have. RG3 at 60-80% is better than Cousins at 100%. BTW, he conveniently forgets that Cousins also was injured for the last 2 weeks of preseason and did not practice. There is no way he would have been better than RG3 who at least could practice with the 1st team during that period. What he also refuses to accept is that the only way for RG3 to get back to his productivity of last year is by playing through his mental impediments. He is physically 100%. The knee is as sound as its going to get, his leg muscles are as strong as they have ever been. What he is not is 100% comfortable playing on it right now. He is getting better, we saw him do some things against DET that he hadn't done in the first 2 games. We also saw him make some boneheaded plays that had nothing to do with his knee. But is has been proven many times over (which specific examples have been pointed out to Dean) that the only way to get back to 100% comfort level playing on his knee is to play. If we park him on the bench until after the bye week, it just means that he has to play through is mental issues for the first 3-4 games after the bye of which we play Dallas, Chi, Den, and SD. Personally, I would rather his suffer through GB and DET and be 100% going into Dallas than have him struggle with his first game being at Dallas.

I cant see how you can discredit Cousins like that. A 60% RG3 is not as good as 100% Cousins. What makes Rg3 great is his running ability. He does not have that now b/c he is not 100% physically. If he was 100% healthy physically he would of scored on the scramble fumble play. He would be out running every defensive player on the field. Kyle would be calling naked bootlegs to get an easy 5 or 6 yards. None of this is happening b/c he is not 100% physically healthy. Yes it does take a little time to get back mentally but there are 3 games in the books now so that should be over with.

Let's be honest here. Any non-fan reading some of this would have to be scratching their head. You are talking about a team where their defense gave up more yds than just about any team in history over 3 games yet somehow some folks want to maintain that primarily falls on the QB & a QB switch would solve these problems. Huh?

RG3 deserves some but certainly not most of the blame. Again - a switch in QBs might have resulted in a different outcome during the Lions game, but there is no way that would be true for either the Eagles or Packers game (where some folks conveniently forget that those teams back off towards the end & had some fluke mistakes of their own).

Time to move on. RG3 now has these games under his belt, has very publicly been reminded of his gaffs & should be getting to the point of being closer to his old self. Here's to a victory on Sunday.

Not quite accurate. First of all - it would not have been a 100% Cousins since he is also recovering from an injury. Also - I would maintain that RG3's strengths go well beyond his running ability. He has a cannon for an arm & is very accurate. He also generally also makes very good decisions although recently he has been a little off - let's hope he gets that out of his system.

how can you compare the Cousins injury to RG3's? What puts fear into defenses is RG3's running ability.

You're right, you can't. RG3's injury was healed and he could run and practice with the offense. Kirk had a foot injury and couldn't run on it until the last week of preseason, nor could he practice. No comparison whatsoever.

Yep - I think it is from last postseason. Anyhow - not trying to give you a hard time - just trying to lighten the mood - we could all use it.
