They have spending cash HH don't worry.....

I went to UNL for quite a few years and not one of them was suffering......in fact, most of them mysteriously had brand new clothes, decent cars, were always out at the bars spending wads of cash.....

They live the fucking life. From the moment they wake up in the morning until the moment they wake up the following morning, they are babied and pampered.

I hate Manziel and it has absolutely nothing to do with his rich background. He uses the high profile 20 year old excuse. Jadeveon Clowney is the next #1 overall draft pick and as high profile as you can get as well. He is 20 years old just like Maziel. When Clowney was asked how he stays out of the tabloid headlines he said he stays away from twitter and bars. This is a 20 year old that is as high profile as Manziel, I don't know Clowney's family financial situation, and actually gets it and understands the scenario in front of him. Manziel is just a fucking fool and using the 20 year old excuse is just dumb. He is an adult!!!! I am not using the war analogy because those people that go to war are a special kind of person and don't deserve to be lowered like that. It is just flat out about being an adult and not making excuses for your actions.

They may earn $2000 a year......... that's a whopping 167 dollars a month....... Anything over 2000 is a NCAA violation...
As others have already said, pretty much from August 1 through May, these kids are completely taken care of while in school. Sure they may need some spending cash, but that shouldn't be hard to make up during the summer. from your link:
Summer Employment
All student-athletes may work during the summer vacation and athletic department staff and alumni are allowed to assist you in finding summer employment. The $2,000 limit on earnings does not apply to summer employment, however the following NCAA rules will apply:

A) The student-athlete may not receive any remuneration for the value or utility that the student-athlete may have for the employer because of the publicity, reputation, fame or personal following he or she has obtained because of athletics ability;
B) The student-athlete is to be compensated only for work actually performed; and C) The student-athlete is to be compensated at a rate commensurate with the going rate in the locality for similar services.

You saw what happened at elite 11. He would have won it had he not had to miss parts of it because he had 7 on 7's w/ his HS team.

He came in there and made Christian Hackenberg and Max Browne look like sissies.

Obviously this is a whole new ball game. He's not throwing on air and this isn't some gay ass ESPN reality show. This is big boy FB.

Still I saw that and new he had what it took mentally to come in here and push Tommy hard. He didn't come here to spectate.
I've seen what Stanton can do on the field with pads.

He's the real deal. Not the best passer, but a great leader vocally and thru his actions. As a junior (was hurt as a senior) he put his team on his back and led them to some huge playoff wins en route to the Pac 5 and state D1 title. The Pac 5 is arguably the nation's toughest section to win. Stanton was a one-man show vs. national powers like Servite and Mission Viejo.

Like I said, they're getting spending money. Nobody goes out on the town like the football players do.

There are what I would call "loopholes" in the system if you get my drift.

No butthurt here. I think what I was trying to express and what you are trying to express are two different things.

I agree with you. The players make millions for people but it's part of the deal they sign up for. The system sucks but they knew that going in.

That was not my point at all. My point was Johnny Football specifically is a puke.

My point is what does a mature person do? Do they stand by the deal they agreed to or do they say "Fuck this shit, I'm worth more than this so I'm going to get some money out of this. I'm a fucking star and I will do what I want to do fuck all you guys. I hate this place anyway."

Well one situation is being a mature adult. The other is being Johnny Fucking Football. And yes 18 year olds can be either one but neither has anything to do with being 18 years old.
