I did some stupid shit but it was mine to fuck up. I didn't have anybody giving me anything and I didn't have anyone I "owed" something back to for what they were doing for me.

Now that probably ain't true but no schollies not parents help. But let me make a comparison.

Stanton 16-17 years old in the elite 11, a front runner forsakes his position to go back and play with his team. He could have looked out for number 1 but he didn't. He did what was best for his team.

Then you got Manziel, talking shit about what a hell hole it is there and it looks like blatantly ignoring NCAA rules. You know too that they sat him down when he got there and went over how important it is not to take any gifts or money for services but did he care? Hell no. It was all about Johnny.
