Thats what we need to be concerned about...Talent aside can he make the right calls...I believe he can but we may have some growing pains early...If I were him I would follow Zim's plan to a T and tweak it in the playoffs where Zimmer is 0-4

Word from Leon Hall is that Paul installed a lot of the nickle package -- And that's where we excelled this year. Hopefully he keeps it up.

He's also the guy that set up chairs the night before a game so Burfict could learn weak-side backer after Howard went down the the ACL injury.

The guy is smart, and per Zimmer he had his hand in a lot of the packages they installed this year.

Apparently Zimmer wasn't too thrilled he stayed. Zimmer had planned on hiring him as the DC in Minn....interesting.

he should be more loyal to the Bengals than Zimmer, it was Lewis who pulled him out of the scrap heap not Zimmer.

Not sure what this means. As far as I'm aware, the guy was a HC at a college by the age of 25 (some small school) and got his break with Marvin in Washington when Washington brought him in. He then followed Marvin to Cincinnati, where he's been for 9 years.

He's certainly earned his due.

To be fair, Washington is a cesspool for football.

was just pointing out that it wasn't like he was languishing there...he was only there while Marvin was there, and left with Marvin.

He actually left a year or two after Marvin. Not sure what the heck he was doing though.

My bad. The article I read made it sound like he left with Mervin...

Either way, he's been here a long time. We'll find out what he can do. He's been a solid coach, but calling plays on game day is different than coaching Weds-Friday.
