Like I said, seemed very vocal at the start.

My guess is a lot of people who maybe didn't see the trip as worth it during the regular season decided to suck it up and make the trek from LI. Hope for the Isles' sake that keeps up :thumb:

Game 4 should be interesting then. I'm curious to see the crowd level on Wednesday with the Isles having a chance to get the series to 3-1. I'd love Greiss to not be so sieve-ish.

Pretty sure both of those series wins came at the expense of the Penguins.

I know 1993 did (Pens fans can't forget David Volek). Here's a little trivia - Who provided the primary assist on the David Volek series winner?

Edit: And you are correct esls, the Panthers did beat the Pens in the '96 ECF before losing to Colorado in the SCF.

Hopefully not Glenn Healy. Hopefully Ray Ferraro. Anybody but Healy.

Chicken Parm with the dish....I still remember that like it was yesterday.

What a shit game last night. I hate admitting this but the Panthers are a bigger, stronger team. There's a reason they won the Atlantic.....My only hope at this point is that the game 1 Luongo shows up. Griess has proved to be a solid goalie for this team.

Also, while we're on the topic, the national broadcasts are brutal with the Islanders 'recent' playoff history. Like, do I really need to know in the middle of a one-goal game that the Islanders haven't won consecutive playoffs games since 2002? Ridiculous.

This sums up the Isles for me.......Announcer: "And Player X has not scored in 15 games......SCORE Player X"

Still in this but that wasn't the result they needed last night.

Funny, after my beer league game, me and a guy from Toronto were talking about that series. For something that happened almost 14 years ago, I remember it very well.

Was actually at the Bates penalty shot game. Loudest game I've ever been to.

Oh and Darcy Tucker and Shane Corson can still eat shit!! :thumb:

I've never been to a Leafs playoff game, first because they were too expensive and then because I had a better chance of being a space tourist than the Leafs did of making the playoffs.

I have been to exactly one Leaf playoff game. And it was Game 2 of the Carolina series in Raleigh you guys are discussing.

Ran into several Toronto fans at a mall before the game. Real party atmosphere in the parking lot. Tailgating, live band, etc.

Third period was gawdawful loud in there. Decibel level was equivalent to standing behind a jet engine. My ears were ringing for 2 hours afterwards.

Give the Tavares will ask for a trade if they lose stuff a rest. If every player felt that way about the team they're playing for the Leafs wouldn't have enough players to fill their roster the way they've been run since 1967.

Yeah well this is what people mean when they say they're wasting years of his prime. When a team has as many prospect weapons to move for a star or two as the Isles have and then you see what JT is capable of with even a modicum of help it really drives the point home.

Right here.
