Should be noted that despite the weird credit he's getting this morning, Greiss was just as sieve-y as Bobby Lou. Even that stop at the end on Jagr was kinda the puck hitting him more than him making a wonder save.

It's strange because the dude let up 4 goals but had he not made a number of crazy saves, it could have been so much more. The last thing I wanted was to him to have a heavy workload on Game 1 knowing he'd be back in there the next night.

JT is a gamer. That was fun watching him play last night.

Quine was great. He got a light 10 minutes or so of ice time but the play he made on the Strome goal was awesome.

Well you see what the guy is capable when he does have help. Having Nielsen and KO on his wing (two pending UFAs....ugh) has elevated JT's game. It's fun to watch but also depletes any depth the Isles have.

Yeah well this is what people mean when they say they're wasting years of his prime. When a team has as many prospect weapons to move for a star or two as the Isles have and then you see what JT is capable of with even a modicum of help it really drives the point home.

The Isles impressed me with their finish last night, but man...that's not a recipe for success giving up nearly 50 shots...I didnt watch the whole way through since Caps-Flyers were on too, but it's sad that my first though was "playoff Luo".

I just hope they play better on defense tonight. Boychuk made two bad plays that lead to two goals. Very uncharacteristic of him. The stretch pass was causing them fits too.

I'm sure they'll have plenty of time to review the tape and correct......oh wait....back to backs. Thanks NHL!
