Pens aren't good at cleaning up in front of the net besides Hornqvist & Kunitz.

The Pens are doing something right even though (IMO) Holtby isn't all that. Caps D is one of the best in the league

Pens would score a lot more on Holtby if we had people who could set up position in front of him, but we only got 2 guys on the whole roster that can do that. One of them is old & the other is undersized.

Pens have sense of urgency and a transition game in addition the Rangers and Isles were just absolutely piss-poor with the Isle being the better of the 2

Lightning basically play the same style of hockey as the Pens. Difference is that they're bigger than we are & they have more experience together in making a long playoff run. On top of that, they'll be the more rested team. Lightning have to be seen as the favorites to represent the Eastern Conference in the Stanley Cup Finals.

Ok, not sure what to say about that. I never said the Lightning are unbeatable, just said that they should be seen as the favorites.

Doobee I'm rooting for Pens tonight. this season we have beaten the Pens 3 times and lost to the
Caps 3 times. . But as long as we have a healthy Ben Bishop in net we have a more than 50-50
chance to win any game.

Caps beat Bolts 3 times this year so I'm glad we won't be tested in the playoffs.

Not only are these the 2 best teams in the Eastern Conference, but the Lightning Forum is my favorite group on SportsHoopla's hockey forum next to that of my beloved Pens. May the winning team raise the Cup this year

Agreed Stealth, even if the Capitals had won the series against the Pens, there's no way they would've beaten the Lightning the following round. Capitals are not a team designed for the playoffs, and a big reason for that is Ovechkin's mega HUGE contract.
