5 0f 15? Wow, that is 33%. UMn beat FOUR Top Ten EOS ranked teams in just 8 games in 1940.

And 95 Nebraska was 4 of 12. Had there been a playoff it had been 5 of 13. And our average margin of victory over the 4 we played was 2 tds more on avg.

This LSU Tiger football team is the only team in the history of college football to have beaten 5 teams that finished the season in the top 10.

Mind you, not teams who were ranked when they played, but teams ranked in the top 10 at seasons end.

If you count teams ranked In the top 10 at the time they played, the number goes to 7.

The combined record of the 5 Top 10 teams LSU beat this year is 60-8....That is ridiculous and the winning percentage of all LSU 2019 opponents was 67.8%....

And just in case you still want to talk about our defense...

We outscored our playoff opponents 105 to 53

That is scoring twice as many points as you allow.....

This team has won more awards than any other team in college history for this season and they scored more points this year than any team has ever scored before.

They are simply the best team you will ever see and that is not debatable.

This drunk coonass makes a compelling argument.

If this is true, this methed-out cornpone hayseed makes a compelling argument.

Apparently you can't read for shit either!

It was 5 of the top 10 at year's end ranking....not when you played them!

btw...LSU played the games and actually won the ones I mentioned, unlike your fantasy about counting wins for games never played.

But here's the funny thing...you jackasses were probably not even born in the time you are pimping as your team's best year.

I've watched my team play for 4 championships and win 3 since in the past 17 years....have you ever even seen your team win the Championship, once in your life?

He was saying that Nebraska beat 4 top ten teams out of their 12 games.

And yes.... those teams all finished in the top ten.

Different time, + playoff allows for more wins and more ranked wins.

2 things are for certain though....

1. LSU had 3 games with a MOV of one score.
2. 1995 Nebraska didn't. Beat every single opponent put in front of them by at least 2 TDs.
Nebraska played 11 games and a bowl game, for a total of 12 victories.
LSU played 12 games, a conference championship and 2 playoff games for a total of 15 victories, 25% more games won.
LSU beat Texas, Florida, Auburn, Alabama, Georgia, Oklahoma and Clemson.

I said 5 of the top 10 ranked at the end of the season.

What's wrong gopher? Can't you fucking read?

5 of 15 opponents. I can read just fine.

4 of UMn's 8 opponents in 1940 were ranked in the EOS rankings in the Top Ten.
5 of LSU's 15 opponents in 2019 were ranking in the EOS rankings in the Top Ten.
