Is there even a point in small market teams in the NBA?

So, what your saying is that except for all the times a small market team won recent titles, small market teams never win titles.

Is this shit for real?

I'm saying that it's extremely rare for them to win titles, not that it's 100% impossible. Thought that was pretty clear from the post?

Except for when they do a lot, right?

See? I get it.

Quoting my OP...

Yeah, can't see the Spurs as a small market. Probably not as well known a city as Dallas or Houston but still a well known city. Their basketball team has been the model of consistency in the NBA for as long as I can remember.

#31 media market in US. #26 market in the NBA, ahead of only Milwaukee, OKC, Memphis and NO.
