I have a MacBook Pro... I'd probably never by an iPad.

Well with the iPad it only works off of WiFi and with Apple.what you see is what you get. With the xoom or Samsung tab if bought through your cell company will have internet access anywhere you have wireless data service.. so depends on what you want it for.. personally i'd get the xoom or Samsung tab so I could.use it while traveling

I didn't know they had gotten the details worked out for.them yet.. last time I checked they were still just WiFi.. wow guess its been about a year.. I'm going to get either the xoom or galaxy maybe by the end of the year through Sprint.. I won't get the first ones to come out because they tend to have software glitches until the next roll out

... you could use a 3g service for the ipad since it came out... you just had to purchase one that had the capability and pay the data plan
