I say week 6 is when the Alex Smith apologists start coming out of the Candlestick woodwork.

Kind of funny - Smith is 3-0 on the Chiefs and Kaep is 1-2 with two 20+ point losses. It's a long season, but it appears the niners may have put all their eggs in the Kaepernick basket a bit soon. Time will tell.

That has to be one helluva thing for 49er fans. They have to hope that their former starting QB keeps winning in KC so that they can have a better shot at drafting a real franchise QB.

What weapons does Tom Brady have? Great QB's make due with what they have. Kaep is a run first QB. When you take away his running ability, he is average at best.

BTW- everybody is talking about how bad Keap was, but what about the Niner defense. They've been getting gashed in the running game. It will only get worse, when they lose Aldon Smith to suspension.

It's only gonna get worse for the Niners. Their defense can't stop the run. The Colts had a makeshift offensive line and they were blowing the niners off the ball. What happens when they lose Smith to suspension? Yikes!
