It was also Mac's first year though so I could understand not canning a guy after 10 games then. PDB already has last years letdown on his resume. I'm not sure if he'd get fired in the next 2 weeks or so but he certainly needs to be feeling the heat at this point.

the constant inability to win a overtime or shootout game
the constant horrible powerplay
the constant horrible turnovers on defense

Obviously it's not really an excuse but the one thing I will say is half the lineup is new (or at least it seems that way) and starting the season with the road trip we did is pretty brutal. We better start winning on the road though because the first half of our schedule is dominated by road games. If we can manage to stay in the race it could pay off because the 2nd half of the year when the grind of the season starts to kick in we have a ton of home stands.
