Granted last night was a hose job by the refs but 5 winless after how we closed out last year. Lou usually isn't this patient.

he was with mac so my guess is pdb gets it to the end of the year. UNLESS this team goes on an epic losing streak.

i dont buy injuries either there are plenty of bad teams in the nhl where you should be able to beat them if your better coached even with injuries. that being said lets not forget the two 10 game losing streaks last year.

after winning 10 games in the first 17 they finished with 9 wins in the last 31 games.

i know the record last year showed it as a .500 season but far from it 19-19-10. more like 19-29

this season we are 0-5!

lets just say he gets fired....what gives? is it the team lou handed him? or is it the type of coach's lou picks?

So far it is third period when they are completely helpless on D. Zid should be out of D. He has no intention for hard help to goalie. I don't remember him blocking shots.

There are 3 teams in the Metro with less points than the winless Devils. Wow, Metro is by far the weakest division in the NHL. They should've just put the Sabres in the Metro as well.

So far the difference has been a few bonehead plays from having 2-3 wins. Besides the game against Pitt, this team has been in every game. Problem is, our defense makes stupid mistakes that gave games away.
Also, if the game goes to OT, this team has little chance. Shootout? game over.

Gotta blame the players for the shitshow thats been going on. The Pens game was a failure of the system but everything else was because the Devils defensemen just suck. Defensive zone turnovers are the players fault. firing PDB won't fix the problem because the next coach will say the same thing - "DONT FUCKING TURN THE PUCK OVER IN OUR ZONE YOU MORONS!!!"

I agree...but while it's true you cant fire the whole team you can fire the coach and that's usually what happens. I think PDB needs to start winning very soon, especially given the collapse at the end of last season
