but the non hardcourts can have Champions that casual tennis fans have never heard of.

I don't care as much what casual fans think.

They're not the ones watching the early rounds of a major, and staying glued to the TV when there's a good or long match.

They're not the ones attending live events, nor are they vastly familiar with most of the players at those events.

I like places like this forum, because just about everyone is a dedicated fan who knows lots of former and current players, and follows several events a year. People like these also attend more live events, and some are even knowledgeable about playing. And knowledgeable about equipment.

The fans on this forum can talk about an early round match if it's good, and that's what I like reading and chatting about.

Wrong board. But as far as the FO goes, I'm a huge fan but it's finally gotten old for me. Everybody knows who's winning on the mens side. More power to him for loving the surface but it was officially ridiculous like 2 titles ago.
