This would be a good year to foucus in the draft wr, safety, cb, sidenote I love oline drango from baylor he is a beast he could play og leftside he is shreff type og
It's fine to let him walk, if you have a capable replacement ready. One who's tough, got great hands, and can block. Who might that be? Didn't I read last week Amari Cooper had more receiving yards than all other rookie 1st round 2015 WR draft picks (5 of them) combined. Drafting WR's is a crapshoot too.
You don't necessarily need to replace someone like Garcon with someone at the same position with equal or better skills. You could perhaps sign a lesser receiver for cheaper & apply the difference to other positions of need. Also - you could find other WRs in the subsequent drafts as others have alluded to in this thread. Everything doesn't need to be fixed right away.
This is kind of the Pats and formerly Eagles approach - get rid of expensive players just as they reach or pass their prime - we will see.
either jax or garcon could be gone for sure
What are Jackson's numbers for next season? An argument could be made that the play of the game Sunday occurred on the third play. That bomb to DJax on 3rd down set them up and avoided a 3 and out deep in their own territory.

Some folks appear to completely ignore the fact that Garcon is a very good blocker. I agree that perhaps they might need to move on without him. However - this idea that it is a no brainer & that he basically brings nothing to the table is absurd. Some of you need to educate yourselves on the game of football.
Am I understanding from Redskins fans that Garcon has not "served" his purpose ?
