he made it a lot farther than I would have expected. his minor league stats aren't good, but I think they're pretty good in the context that he didn't play any baseball for like a decade. he's just been completely overwhelmed in AAA and even when he had a 102 wRC+ in AA, he had a strikeout rate of 34.6%.

Million Dollar Mile - Wikipedia
Million Dollar Mile was an obstacle course competition television series that premiered on March 27, 2019, on CBS.[1] Former NFL quarterbackTim Tebow was the host, with Matt "Money" Smith and Maria Taylor as co-hosts, and NBA superstar LeBron James as an executive producer.[2]The course shut down the streets of Los Angeles and contestants that ran it had the opportunity to win $1,000,000 if they completed it. The contestants had to overcome various obstacles along the course, including a group of elite athletes whose goal was to stop them from winning the prize money.[3][4]

After just two episodes with "lacklustre ratings,"[5] CBS moved the show from its Wednesday slot to Saturday nights, beginning May 4, 2019. However, after two weeks of low-rated Saturday episodes, the show was pulled with six episodes remaining unaired.[6]

Then becomes a beloved family doctor in Chisholm MN??
Then robbed at knifepoint by a James Earl Jones-esque character while walking late one evening. The JEJ character is a burnout from the psychedelic period and needs quick cash for a fix. He robs Doc, and later buys it out of the back of a super club from some old bat that poses as a writer for the local newspaper.

I tell ya, you can't make this shit up
