I would assume maybe pre-B1G, the BTN doesn't have the rights and won't pay for them for the Huskers old games. Then again, at this point, I'd think whoever does have the rights would sell them for little to nothing since who else really wants to play them?

I do agree about the BTN, I've seen OSU, Mich, MSU, Wiscy a lot. games from many years, not just last year. So, why not the comeback win over OSU a few years ago? or the MSU win 2 years ago, where sure we got lucky with a few calls but that was still a great game to watch.

A couple weeks ago I saw they finally had one in the lineup but it was airing at like 2am.

Wisconsin, Michigan, and Michigan State are literally always being replayed.

I don't have DVR and I sure as shit ain't gonna record all the games on VHS. I would think Nebraska fans would boost the ratings big time if they would air reruns of our games. Shit, think of all the thrilling finishes we've had in the past couple of seasons. Or even some of the classic bowl games in the past.

Like I said though, that has nothin to do with it.

BTN wasn't even a network until a few years ago. They play reruns of games from 10, 20, 30 years ago that they do not just simply own the rights to.

I mean, they did play the Nebraska/Miami game once. But they play Penn State's bowl games from before they joined all the time.

Well I would think if ABC or CBS for instance aired the game, then they would have the rights.

Anyways, Penn State wasn't in the Big 10 back in the 70's but they still play their games from back then.
