We’re at a weird spot with only two active QBs being SB champs with their current teams.

Baker and a number of guys are capable of winning one, they just haven’t, yet.

Biggest problem for Baker is he is the same Baker from college. He hasn't gotten better.

Sure, he is a good athlete and can extend plays, however, he absolutely has to square his shoulders to throw accurately.

He has always been rigid in his throwing motion, and has zero elasticity to make different throws when under any kind of pressure.

For a 6'0" QB in the NFL, that is a huge problem. He throws way too many INTs because he isn't supple enough in his upper body to get rid of the ball when needed nor hit a WR across his body like many of the news studs simply can.

Also, because he is soo short he gets a lot of balls batted down too when he plays good teams

I mean he's not bad. He just isnt good either. I mean it's even in his name. Baker-Mid-field. Most people in this thread were split 50/50...So the conclusion is he wasn't a bust, but he isn't good either. IE mid

if he ever becomes the backup on a good team, and then fills in for injury, he could go further in the playoffs. but he isn't going to carry a team on his back. at least he got to the playoffs this year, which is still better than most I guess.
