I'd say Carolina is the most likely trade candidate, followed by Seattle, and then Tampa.

I say Tampa, because I'm sure Brady is very close to actually retire, I could see Tampa trading a 4th, for a Brady 2023 replacement, if Brady doesn't retire they let Mayfield walk and get a 2025 comp pick.

I don't see Pittsburgh in pkay because they want Pickett to start.

All this depends on how much of Mayfield contract the Browns are willing to pay, andcthen the highest pick they get in return.

Come on Question Coward (will be used a lot, I'm sure, so QC for short).....you were the one who said a long time so would think you had an idea what that might be QC.
I know what I consider a long time.

But like everything with you, your definition will changed based on your narrative at that given moment.

Keep doing you.

His current contract is a 1 year prove it deal.....seems like he might want to play to prove it than watch, no QC?
Keep spinning and misdirecting. Do you enjoy being smacked around by the entire board?
He may want to play, but not for the Browns. The dummies already burnt that bridge.

Why play and risk getting hurt for a team that basically thinks he's immature and unable to lead their team that they would risk their org on a scum bag like Watson?

You're on the clock. Let the spinning begin.

If you know, QC, why wont you answer and tell me what a long time is to you. I mean, stands to reason I might answer differently if a long time for you is 6-8 games, a season, more than a season, etc.

But that just became another way for you to show your prowess as a QC.

Another of many opinions out there. Personally I think it would be a pretty even battle between Darnold and Baker to see who wins the job. I also think whichever does win the job is still not the starter next year because neither is an NFL starter IMO and Car will be drafting or signing a new QB in 2023

Not even close.

Mayfield wins the starting job pretty easily.

TB doesn't have much cash available so I doubt they are a serious candidate to trade for him. Until, Brady retires and then they might sign him as a FA. No sense trading for him as a backup.

To answer your question (as I'm not scared of them), because he knows the offense and most of the players and with Watson out the season in this scenario he'd be the starter.

I do love watching you smack yourself around though. One minute you question how I could know some of the things I say without speaking to coaches, FO, etc (even though I never claim to know) but you have not spoken to our FO or coaches to know they think he's immature.

Arians is the guy that really seemed to like him. With him not there no idea what their interest might be.

I could see them being interested.

Even without Arians.....I don't see them being interested in a young QB who will take some time to develop. They would want a guy who has expereince.....

They have plenty of space for a trade and Cleveland eating the majority of his contract..

They don't need much. They have enough.

When your starting QB is 45 years old having a solid back-up is wise, not to mention how much better Mayfield would be in 2023 after a year behind Brady.

They spent most of what they had bringing the gang back.

They have $12M to play with. But they won't do it if they think Brady might return in 2023.

Cleveland isn't going to eat it all or the majority. Maybe half.
We'll see. Reports are they are already ready to eat half, and trades aren't happening. I'm thinking it gets to about 12M and they receive a possible 4th.

An injury will happen and teams will be willing to trade a 3rd for Mayfield at 8-9 mill.

Yes we will. How often do we see QB season ending injuries? It happens but it's not an annual occurrence.
Could be, but it doesn't have to be season ending injury....if the starter missed anywhere from 6-10 games that can take a team out of playoff race since most backups aren't there in case they are needed for a lot of games....usually just a handful if the starter had a minor injury.
