The Afghan Whigs put out a song called Retarded that just blew me away decades ago...and, no, it was not a puerile insult song. Sad that they never really made a splash in the music world. I may have seen them in Dallas ages ago, can't remember for sure....

I'm also glad I got to see them 5 times during that tour in the summer of '82...Hollywood (twice), once in Santa Barbara, & then twice here in SF.

Always have liked the Clash. But never got the chance to see them live. I bet they were damn good.
