The Lions don't have our defense. He would win here. Sure he can go to the Colts or 49ers but we should be in the picture too. i can see the Lions trading him this offseason. D. Buckner from the 49ers wen to the Colts last year for the #13 overall pick in the draft. What our are Dt's worth?

Why? We won’t be able to keep all of them, and Sweat, and Young.

We can replace whomever we get rid of with Settle.

Let's understand what there is to gain and what risks come when setting sights on these older QB's. In a nutshell, you get relief from that unreachable itch that comes from being unsettled at the position. The risks are equally easy to understand because you're buying an expiring product that in a year or two will put you right back where you started before you acquired that player.

I'm against all attempts to go after any of the big name potential free agent QB's.
