Gibbs wasn't in this situation with Campbell nor did joe have to worry about Snyder or Vinny overseeing him, rushing him or denyinhg him anything. He (Gibbs) may actually be the only HC in the Snyder era that didn't get static or interference from Snyder.
What Gibbs saw, at least imo, was that he realized Jason Caqmpbell was a mistake of a draft pick, though I don't blame all that on Campbell. He was coached horribly by Gibbs imo. Gibbs coached Campbell not to lose as opposed to trying to win.
Mostly agree. But I think the Gibbs wasn't in this situation thing stems from the fact that while Vinny was a yes man, that's all he was. Vinny was more than happy to step back and stay in his lane and let Gibbs be the lead dog.
Bruce on the other hand actually thinks he knows what the fuck he is doing. A man with power that thinks he knows what he is doing is a very dangerous thing.
