There are no ABC'ers here. Your own GM said he wouldn't pay the price tag for KC right now. Why would you give a guy 30M per season if he is nothing special. Doesn't make sense to me. I agree with you that we can win with KC in our current system with the right tools around him.

You and others have lashed out at this organization if we don't sign him long term. If we do move on from him I can see why. Its not being a ABC er its just having common sense. Once again the organization is not done if we don't get KC on a LTD.

If nothing else. Its time to take the present FO off the hook for not signing Cousins LTD the last 2 years it would appear. And as it appears he's most responsible for Cuz not being signed long term. Scotty Mac saying KC's nothing special isn't surprising in the least. What else can he really say? That he was wrong. How many times has that come out the mouth of a GM/former GM?

And Scotty Mac is wrong in this instance. It isn't a matter of whether Cuz is special or not. The heart of the matter is whether or not Kirk Cousins is the best option available and capable of leading the Redskins to where we'd all like to see them get to. The answer to that question in my mind is unequivocally and w/o question yes, he is.

Aside from the writer of this article arguably having too big of a boner just a little too soon for Jimmy G. As well as his silly notion that Matt Ryan is w/o question better than Kirk just cuz. I found this article to be fairly on point. The FO needs to strike sooner rather than later imo though. 5 years/150 million maybe a little more with the only real issue that needs hammering out is the guaranteed money.

That's kinda special to me.

28 QB in the NFL in these two categories are not as good as ours truly. He's up there with Brees and Brady. Not saying he's either of them but he's the best we're gonna do. Nobody in FA or draft will measure up. I have to question the front office in do they really want to compete or is it all about the money. We're so close... Gonna be to bad if we fuck this up too.

I stand by being tired of seeing this team try and take the shortcut to elite at every turn and failing. And I suspect that until we become the Browns kind of bad, nothing will change.

As for is Kirk "Special", he is a franchise QB. If that aint special enough for you.... well you should love Jackson or Mayfield as those are the guys I expect to be on the table when we draft.

As for why I hope they get nothing for him... you shouldn't be rewarded for doing dumb shit.
