Looks like you hand-picked one issue....Kap's performance. I don't know how many here were complaining about it last season because I wasn't posting here ,but three games in this season I do see flaws with his play..as well as the play-calling ,Defense ,etc. I'm not about to put this all on Kap at the moment...are you?

Nolt really a ton...two seasons...but success for sure. We will see how this pans out. Some new 9er fans might not make it thru a bad season.

I cant tell if you are being serious. What are you trying to get at?

It's a crazy stat. Kaepernick has had some extremely bad starts. That should be alarming to 49er fans that our QB gets off to such a rocky start.

Gotta say, this is an area where again we might miss Alex a little. Alex was generally very effective on his first drive, very ineffective on his next 4 or 5, and then occasionally effective late. Though I feel like the early drive effectiveness was not as great under Harbaugh.

Yeah, I can't ever remember being as intrigued about a matchup as this Thursday night game. Both teams are already fighting for their season and while the 49ers are obviously a much more talented team, the Rams have a better head coach and they're at home.

I can't wait for this game.

something that is lost with all these stat is the fact that the Niners script their opening drive. Therefore, the effectiveness or ineffectiveness of the drive depends on the play... Let's say, the niners had a good gain on one play.. The following play will not be influenced by that result... They will proceed with what they have on the script... The same goes if the previous play did not generate a good result...

I just would not call a first time starting QB getting off to a bad start crazy or alarming ,that is all. I expect them to have issues. Maybe today's NFL is different. Too many rookie QBs making an immediate impact.
