NJ Advance Media's Mark Eckel reports the Redskins will target impending free agent NT Bennie Logan if he hits the open market.

The Redskins didn't even have a pure nose tackle this past season, and their run defense suffered greatly because of it. Washington simply rotated linemen across their front, finishing 25th in run-defense DVOA. Logan didn't fit quite as well in DC Jim Schwartz's 4-3 scheme this past season. He's more of a traditional 3-4 nose and would be an excellent fit with the Redskins.

He would be cheaper than Brandon Williams. Great run stopper. Makes sense to me.

ever heard of the franchise tag ? teams use it , poe might not be available williams may cost more then logan i am sure they are on the wish list

I would love to know how the Chiefs would do it they have no cap room and Eric Berry is a free agent as well

Just don't see it happening out of 32 teams they are 30th in cap room space they could lose 1 or both and I would love to have either on the team
