FarhanLaljiTSN: Sheldon Souray compared Yakupov's goal celebration last night to TO spiking the ball on the #Cowboys star @TSNRyanRishaug

Granted, Souray is pretty bitter towards the Oilers, but I would also hazard a guess that he's not alone in thinking it crossed the line.

More to the point, here’s what ex Oiler Jarret Stoll, a Kings stalwart, told TSN’s Ryan Rishaug after the game about Yakupov’s whoop-de-doo:

“It wasn’t something that was looked in a positive light in our dressing room. But so be it. He made a good play on the goal”

Personally I thought it was a bit over the top but that doesn't necessarily make it a bad thing. If he wants to look foolish that's his problem. It's not the Kings' problem. Their problem is he just tied the game. In my opinion the ones who should be most upset over the celebration would be the other Oilers on the ice who he completely disregarded. I'm sure they were just happy that the goal was scored though and not too worried about it. They play the game for the fans. He was at home and just scored a big goal and the place went nuts. I'm sure the Oilers fans in attendance loved it.
