Some valid points and some reaches in the article. Kind of hard to judge the likes of Murphy, Moses & Long until they accrue some time in service. Saying Murphy is a reach by Riddick is simply a matter of opinion. His frame alone will allow him to add mass and muscle to win the 1 on 1 NFL battles he mentions. Moses by year 2 could possibly be a 10 year starter for us and the value (3rd round) was a steal imo. Again, just an opinion of one and not all.

The holes they mention on defense are very valid as we did nothing to really improve unless you call Clark & re-signing Merriweather an improvement, I don't. Re-signing Riley was necessary all though he has not shown star potential going into year 5. We literally signed 3 backups to compete with Robinson at the other spot and the only real addition was Hatcher. An over 30 year old player on the downside of his career. Top that off with retaining Haslett (Not a fan) and the real culprit for our "C" grade this off season. The book remains out on Gruden and what he brings but his quick departures from the Bengals playoffs doesn't bode well for us.

We need another solid off season next year to include FA and a draft that nets us a much needed 1st rounder and maybe, just maybe we can land a "B" next off season.

Have we really developed Riley Dad? Or, is he the circumstance of fortune because we switched to a 3-4 and he just happen stance walked into the starting lineup? One thing is for sure, he did not take over the leadership duties from Fletcher and as bad as Fletcher was last year, Riley didn't stand out. We shall see what kind of step Riley takes this year without Fletcher.

yes , of course we did .

as for standing out what do you want ? in 2012 he was a top ten tackler in the nfl . last season he led the team

we are talking about a 4th round pick here . i would say he certainly has developed

as for taking over leadership from LBF are you joking ? who on the team was going to do that ? no one

Our biggest mistake was not hiring a GM. I think a C is too harsh. The good thing is that next season, our focus is fairly straight forward:

ILB, DLine, Safety, TE and maybe RB. The draft was solid and our free agent pickups were nice as well.

we have the best team in the division on paper. If we play like to it should be another division championship.

I'll be the first to admit...

I have no idea what our record will be this season.

The division is incredibly weak. The best team last season was PHI but they lost one of their two best players to the worst team in the division last season, us.

Dallas is mediocre and if Romo isn't healthy, they are screwed.

The NYG are aging and falling apart.
