    Ja’Marr Chase (ankle) DNP Tuesday

Bengals WR Ja’Marr Chase (ankle) was listed as a non-participant in Tuesday’s practice.
Advice: Chase did not participate in the Bengals’ walk-through on Tuesday. He seems to be nursing an ankle injury on a short Week 15, with a game against the Vikings on Saturday. Once the Bengals put on the pads for practices later in the week, the severity of Chase’s injury will become clearer. For now, his status for Week 15 is in question. Fellow WR Tyler Boyd (foot/ankle) was listed as limited, paving the way for Tee Higgins to be the primary beneficiary should either Chase or Boyd miss time.

Isiah Pacheco (concussion) returned to practice Friday.

Per Andy Reid, Pacheco is making progress through the league’s protocol but will still need a final signoff from the medical staff before being cleared. He is expected to be listed as questionable heading into the weekend. It sounds like Pacheco has a legitimate shot to play this week despite going down with a concussion on Monday. His return to the lineup would crush any RB2 value Clyde Edwards-Helaire had versus Cincinnati.

Expected to play Sunday

Pacheco has cleared concussion protocol and is expected to suit up versus Cincinnati on Sunday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

for those wondering about Pacheco

Dropping like flies and we're barely into 2024 camp.

D'Onta Foreman = neck
Justin Herbert = day2day with plantar fascia.
DeAndre Hopkins = miss multiple weeks with a knee strain.
Josh Jacobs = lower soft tissue and a groin injury.

This kind of stuff has become the norm since they don't treat them like football players anymore in practice - just my :2cents:

Especially with vets. Hell, half the time I think most soft tissue injuries for veteran players at this point in camp are nothing but lies to not have to practice.

Gee coach, my hammy is awfully right today, don't think I'll make it out there for 7 on 7 today

It's concerning seeing soft tissue injuries cropping up, but likely just precautionary measures this early. I'd only be concerned if these people didn't start ramping up their practice participation by week 3 of the preseason.
