Like that busty girl you knew in high school, chronic back problems are going to plague this person's future.

That is possible, but hardly certain. And he appears to know how to minimize the damage from his back problems.

Remember how TERRIBLE a shooter Rondo was his rookie year? He still is tiny by NBA standards but that hasn't kept him from playing SMART basketball.

Finding ways to cope with physical imperfections is a Celtic tradition.

@Davis Mike

The NBA is only half about getting buckets, the other half is D. Maybe he will be loved like Melo but he will never be dominant like Lebron. Davis will be.

Also love your tag line, there is nothing more boring than sanity.

There is a big difference between how KD & Melo get buckets. And KD in his prime will be just as dominant as Lebron. Look at this season as an example. And he just now starting to near his prime years.

His support cast is doing a lot of things that KD is getting credit for. And KD is twice the player that Melo could dream of being.

Before I thought LBJ was still the best player in the league but being lazy (resting I guess), this is probably a little overreaction to seeing how well he played against LBJ tonight but it is closer today than it has ever been.

KD the best for the next 5 years, maybe less. It will be Davis by that time. An undersized (in todays game) SF can not impact the game as much as a C/PF can.

Davis will be a top 3 player in the league 5 years from now. Durant will be 30 and still a force. I'd say it's Davis or Durant or someone in college or HS right now. Cousins could also end up one of the leagues best in the next few years.

Jared Sullinger of my Celtics will be moving up in polls like this for some time to come.

He already understands rebounding better than many more experienced players and his offense is improving.

Scoring titles he is not likely to win, but like most Celtics of the past he cares more about team championships than individual stats. As near as I can tell, anyway.

I'm big on Sully too. I think he's going to be a career 20 and 10-12 type of guy.

Clearly it will be Lance Stephenson. He will lead us to several championships. He will become your mom's favorite player. He will cure cancer and wipe out the deficit. Just sayin.....

Whoever the Lakers get with their 2014 first round draft pick. It's going to be a good one.

Its hard to imagine John Wall dominant without his speed

John Wall will be 28. His shot is making improvements. He's got athleticism to go with that speed, he's got all the tools to be an elite defender, and his playmaking is improving.

He might not be the most dominant at 35....though if he keeps improving who knows, but by 28...he could be scary good.

The most dominant player in 5 years will be Kobe. He'll go to Germany or someplace and get bionics!!

I think Curry will be a top 3-5 player in the league down the road.
