Anthony Davis.
He is the total package.

And P.S.
Cavs should trade Kyrie before trade deadline this year.
He is over rated. Might as well trade him at peak value vs letting him be exposed and then losing him to free agency when the time comes.

agree and do not agree.

I agree with him being overrated I disagree with moving him, unless draft picks. No matter who is on that team if they are talented will eventually leave for a number of reasons, so keep what you have for as long as you can.

Kyrie's performance has declined this year, but he's still a good player. Overrated? Yes, in that John Wall is better.

I'd bet on Durant.

I thought he was 26...he is still 25 so at 30...I am still taking Davis. Davis is going to be bigger and stronger than Durant's quickness can make up for. Davis is the better defender, should be considered for DOY.

As a sophmore he is averaging 20-10 on .518 shooting and a PER of 26.7. 3.3 blocks, 1.3 steals and he shoots the same from the FT line as LBJ. He is also 6th in WS/48. The boy is a beast waiting to turn 21.

He's a beast with lots of room still to grow. I agree that he could be the best in 5 years.

Lebron is still only 29

He can be a dominant force at age 34

I want to see if he will adjust his game as he gets older, like MJ and Kobe did, as the speed and athleticism start to slow down.

IMO, he already has. Post game and shooting WAY up from 3-4 years ago.

Damn how did I forget Cousins!!! Great list, move Durant to 4th due to age and not being a center and probably never going to add mass.

Lebron is still only 29

No he can't. He can maybe still be elite, top 10 maybe, but the way these kids are coming up, he probably only has 3 MVP caliber years left.

How about Adam Morrison?

More rings than Barkley, already top 10 of all time :laugh3:

Maybe. The thing with Durant is that he'll always be able to score. He won't have to learn moves like Kobe had to. Durant is so tall that he is almost always taking uncontested shots.

Barring a serious injury, the answer is Durant.

No disrespect to any of the young players mentioned in this thread, Durant is the only guy that can get you 35 points any time he wants to. Durant is pure money. Davis may be more of a total package, but the NBA is about getting buckets. And there is no one better at getting buckets than KD. The guy can't be guarded. You can guard the big guys & Davis relies on others to create his shots.

@Davis Mike

The NBA is only half about getting buckets, the other half is D. Maybe he will be loved like Melo but he will never be dominant like Lebron. Davis will be.

Also love your tag line, there is nothing more boring than sanity.

Jared Sullinger of my Celtics will be moving up in polls like this for some time to come.

He already understands rebounding better than many more experienced players and his offense is improving.

Scoring titles he is not likely to win, but like most Celtics of the past he cares more about team championships than individual stats. As near as I can tell, anyway.

Like that busty girl you knew in high school, chronic back problems are going to plague this person's future.
