Why does Reimer want to go see a Jets' game?

Wait, maybe I'm getting my Primes confused.

As far as I'm concerned, True North Sports is a first class organization. I speak from my experience with them. Three years ago, I was back in Winnipeg and being an Inductee into the Manitoba Hockey Hall of Fame, I wanted to see the display that was moved to the MTS Centre from the old Winnipeg Arena. I went to the MTS Centre and it was all locked up. I went across the street to the TNS offices and told them, that if it was possible, I would like to see the display and why. They called a Security Guard over from the Centre and he escorted me over to the rink. He told me to take all the time that I wanted and I had a private showing. While I was there, a woman, who worked for TNS, came walking by. She asked me why I wasn't taking any pictures and I told her that I didn't have a camera with me. She told me that she would take some pictures of the display and send them to me via my e mail. Sure enough, a couple of days later I recieved them. I was and am very gratefull for all that they did for me.

terrific story mbh (as always)

here's another sign that they are cut from a different cloth than the rest of the league.

Winnipeg Jets say a number of season ticket accounts have been cancelled for activity regarding the re-sale of tickets.

in other words - if you are scalping season tickets, you lose your seats.
hell, the Canucks set up their own website to HELP scalpers move tickets above face value (taking their cut of course)

Is it really true that a) the Jets recalled their *mascot* from a minor league affiliate today and b) the mascot's name is "Mick E. Moose"? :L

I think that's great. Winnipeg police have made a couple of arrests.

Winnipeg police go undercover to nab Jets scalpers

The NE Patriots have a site like that also, but you can only sell the tickets for face value I believe.

during the playoffs (yeah, I remember them), you would lose your seats here too if "CAUGHT" scalping above face value, so it's not that new of a concept.

NC actually has a law regarding scalping. $2 over face value, max. There is a resell zone outside the arena for every game where legal resale can happen.

During the Cup finals and All star game, detectives arrested many people trying to scalp. If it was the seat owner caught doing the selling, they lost their seats.

I'm starting to think we have some posters on here who have a man crush on Chara from deep in their closet.

Not that there is anything wrong with that. :ohwell:
