Let’s slow down a bit. Trueblood has been a nice burst of energy. But let’s not pretend that he is on the same talent level of Copeland, Roby, and Palmer.

Two wins in the tournament with a depleted roster doesn’t make up for 7 years of average and under performance. 1 tourney appearance in 7 years doesn’t cut it regardless of these two wins.

This team was sucking before losing Copeland and even losing Copeland should not have lead to the death sentence that it did.

Short of winning the B1G tournament Miles needs to go. And I’m a Tim Miles fan.

But a 3 game win streak at the end of the year doesn’t erase my memory from the past 7 years.

I don’t think Miles saved his job. I think the decision was likely made already a few weeks ago.

Stringing these 3 wins together have been extremely impressive though. What do we have? 6 scholarship players available?

The Seniors are playing like Seniors and it is so much fun to watch. NEVER quit.

After the game they asked Glynn if he imagined Nebraska would make it to Friday and he said “I packed ‘til Sunday.”

It is the energy that they are winning on, the energy that was missing earlier in the season.

If that energy had been infused earlier in the season the talent may have picked it up and the season may very well have been different.
