Man we could have been a contenda we could been somebody!
This team could have been great tho
Nebraska will win tonight.
miles may have saved his job today
JJM is now on suicide watch.
One upset doesn’t make up for a whole season of under performing
this upset. got us into the bubble and might be in the LAST 4 IN.
I think a win tomorrow guarantees Nebraska a spot in the tourney
Why? Because he was forced to play his bench?
one win away from tourney
and these youngins..are going to straight ball next year
Meh. Not deserving at this point. We’ve been awful the last month. We probably have to win conference to make tourney
Yeah but my point is he doesn't even know his own players. If it wasn't for injuries and suspension the same 5 that stunk it up half the season would still be out there. He hasn't done anything to take credit for this. He's just got some kids that want to play. The same ones that sat and sat and sat.
Kool aid now. Reality later
Let’s slow down a bit. Trueblood has been a nice burst of energy. But let’s not pretend that he is on the same talent level of Copeland, Roby, and Palmer.
Two wins in the tournament with a depleted roster doesn’t make up for 7 years of average and under performance. 1 tourney appearance in 7 years doesn’t cut it regardless of these two wins.
This team was sucking before losing Copeland and even losing Copeland should not have lead to the death sentence that it did.
Short of winning the B1G tournament Miles needs to go. And I’m a Tim Miles fan.
But a 3 game win streak at the end of the year doesn’t erase my memory from the past 7 years.
Good man, good coach but time to move forward.
Expectations for this season were to make the tourney and win a game. If that happens then I'd say he met expectations.
So how do we plan to root for them now?
If they make the tourney and win a game then I will be the first in line to say he should stay.
Shit. It’s Nebrasketball. If he wins a game in the tourney they should build a statue for him outside PBA.
Gotta win tomorrow first
I don’t think Miles saved his job. I think the decision was likely made already a few weeks ago.
Stringing these 3 wins together have been extremely impressive though. What do we have? 6 scholarship players available?
The Seniors are playing like Seniors and it is so much fun to watch. NEVER quit.
After the game they asked Glynn if he imagined Nebraska would make it to Friday and he said “I packed ‘til Sunday.”
Slow down a bit? If I'm going to fast for you I'm sorry. And why would I be pretending about anything?
I'm not sure what you heard me say but I never meant to imply there was great talent on the bench that Miles missed.
It is the energy that they are winning on, the energy that was missing earlier in the season.
If that energy had been infused earlier in the season the talent may have picked it up and the season may very well have been different.
If we’re hoping for miracles don’t we root for chalk the rest of this tournament?
Here's the deal. You don't start coaching mid-March.
Therefore it's not coaching winning these games. It's desperation.
sMiles should get his walking papers regardless.
