Until of course he comes here and transfers and then he is a bum and is a malcontent and was never going to be good anyway.

When a coach leaves and we are looking for a replacement it is always best for a former Husker player to be the next coach at any position even though that former player has ZERO coaching experience except for maybe a couple of years as an assistant high school coach.

I agree with you that it's ridiculous, but most people I knew not named shady did not want Turner Gill as our next HC. And ultimately everyone was ecstatic with the Bo Pelini over Turner Gill hire.
