I waited until now because Apple just released the iOS update that fixes the battery life issue.

Even then, it pales in comparison to the Epic 4G or HTC Evo battery life issues. They're the worst.

That may be true. From what I've read, more problems are caused by an upgrade from a previous iphone set to the 4S, because of previous settings being read in via itunes. I read that Siri is a potential 'google killer' on mobile. It's the feature I'd really like to have - being able to just tell the phone what to search for, when you're in the car, for example, has got to be nice.
