Oilers are definitely not playing nice with fans in the South Okanagan during this tournament. After holding closed door practices in Kelowna late last week, tonight against the Flames, Taylor Hall, Jordan Eberle, and Magnus Paajarvi will all be scratched.

Would it kill them to split those guys up and have at least one of those young stars playing in each game?

Oilers management is

1-0 Oily rags after the 1st period. I think it was Alex Plante with a shot through traffic.

Greg Nemisz ties it up on the PP - Lance Bouma with a nice feed.

Oilers goalie has a great name (he also plays for the Medicine Hat Tigers) - Tyler Bunz

It was Plante.

I thought it was gonna be 2-0 when livingston came out of the box with a patient dish out front that was toed by the goalie.

Backlund looks good. Quick thinker it seems. Made a couple shifty moves with passes teammates weren't ready for.

He looks like he put on some muscle this off-season (looks a lot bigger out there than last year)

Wow, the Flames pp has improved throughout the game. It seemed like they couldn't do anything below the faceoff dots early. Not even effective traffic.

Tyler Pitlick (another Medicine Hat Tigers player) makes it 4-2 Oil.

That was a pretty good scrap!! Breen (Flames) got cut open with that late shot.
