Yeah, Patriots fans aren't the least bit threatened by Peyton Manning. Everyone can tell.

71% against were else are you going to get those odds only easier pidgeon is Rivers 100% against and Ben is over 80%. Wish Pats face Peyton instead of Eli in Big Show Omaha Omaha Omaha

Well, the timing of a thread devoted to PFM's acting skills strikes me as suspicious.
I'm not going to chat about the motives of the OP. I don't know him. I just asked a simple question.

He makes more in a day than I will make in my lifetime if I work till I'm 100. But if he gets bored he can go back to the future delivering Papa Johns. He should go back further, get a DeLorean and do 88mph. Hit more deliveries that way

The physical in March is required by his contract. If he isn't cleared to play, then he doesn't. Simple as that.

I think that if he is able to physically, he will as long as he can. Winning the Superbowl this year may make it easier to accept if he isn't cleared to play, but he is such a competitor, I think that if he does win and is cleared to play, then he will as long as he feels like he can be competitive.

I truly meant to simply pay Peyton a compliment. It takes nothing to get jumped around here lately.

...if you READ what I typed, you'll see that I was making a far off prediction that by the "end of his announcing career" provided he does go into announcing, he may well be Maddenesque in stature because he's really a pretty decent actor and a good speaker.

Sheesh, tough crowd.

I jerkoff to him when I watch Deliverance You shir gat a perrty mouth. No Hammer but when you make statements like that when pats win 2 1/2 games to his 1 why would we be happy for him to retire. We want Rivers and Ben to retire too. Want to play the Rodgers

S'all good TD.

I played Capt Brackett in our school production of South Pacific a couple of years ago. Having my first experience with stage acting at age 52 was a real eye opener. That shit's tough to do!

When Manning does retire, he could certainly be a TV analyst. But I wouldn't be surprised if he goes into coaching

To the Den fans..

have their been reports or rumors in Den that his neck has been bothering him? I have not heard anything, but their are always reports/rumors we don't hear about.

I'm trying to put together the funds to send my 12 year old grandson to the Manning's QB camp in LA. I've heard from various people that both Peyton and Eli are incredible coaches when they deal with kids. My grandson has incredible talent, but there's no real advanced camps here in the northeast for kids. If he's as good as advertised with kids, I'm pretty sure he could coach at just about any level.

Nope, not a word. I highly doubt that he'll not pass his March physical. I fully expect to see Peyton Manning under center for the Broncos next year, regardless of whether or not he gets to the Superbowl or wins. Manning has repeatedly said that as long as he feels like he can play at a high level, he wants to play. I would say that his 2013 campaign was at a pretty high level.

...he's a pretty decent actor. He has a good delivery and emotes well as evidenced by his commercials. I have a feeling he's going to become one of the voices of football at the end of his announcing career.

Petty.

Bitter and petty.

He's one of the best QB's in the history of the league and he didn't need video tape to get there.

I don't understand why you just can't admit he's one of the greatest QB's in the history of the league. Are you homer glasses THAT thick?

Only thing I have heard about Manning "retiring" was if the doctor said after they looked at his kneck that he couldn't play again then he'd retire. I think even IF that was the case he'd still come back.

But what makes anyone think Peyton's kneck isn't "healthy?". He'll be back next season. He has plenty left in the tank.

I'm actually shocked Tom Brady doesn't have something going out there. He'd have the market cornered in the NE.
