Game Thread: ill annoying @ Nebraska

Did amyone see a number as far as Illinois second chance points? It seemed like it would be an embarrassing number.

score sheet says 18. Ill had 46 total rebounds. 14 2nd chance points and the 30 points in the paint.

i blame myself guys, i watched most of last night. they never play well when i watch.

14-2nd chance points is not as bad as I thought. Not good, but i was thinking at least 20.

The embarrassing number is that Illinois got the rebound on 1/2 of the shots they missed. This was one of the few games that we were the bigger team. This has been a problem all year but last night was really bad.

It’s pretty incredible we manage to come out on top when we get dominated that bad on the boards. We play good enough Defense that it somehow balances out. Teams aren’t shooting the lights out against us. We have especially done a good job at holding teams to low 3-point percentages.
