as much as i HATE to say it, I see the bungles as a great value bet.

if I'm actually betting on a 'sure thing' either seattle or sf. hard to judge pre-draft.

To be the man you have to beat the man. Everyone is talking about how much the Ravens lost. Ray Lewis was a great leader but let's face it. He's nowhere near the player he was. His leadership will be missed more than anything. They essentially replaced Paul Kruger with Elvis Dumervil. I don't know about you guys but I'll take Dumervil every day of the week. Bernard Pollard could't cover anyone to save his life. The defense was ranked 26th in the league. Changes needed to be made. And oh yeah, Lardarius Webb the teams best corner will be back. The only move that I think hurts the team is Boldin.

Two teams Broncos and Niners. I would take the Niners first though.

I like how the Ravens fan almost completely dismisess losing the entire middle/backend of your defense. Do I think they'll go 5-11? No. But turning over that much roster in one season in a pass-happy NFL is insane.

Atlanta is going to win the Super Bowl easy. They are fucking loaded... I think the biggest issue they have is the need to address DB's and ILB positions.

Anyway the SportsHoopla bookie takes these kinds of bets..?

I would bet on Houston just because it would pay better. I think San Fran will be the best team though.

Love to see the Falcons, but Denver and the 49er's look pretty good. I am curious about Kapernick though, he obviously had an amazing year but can he keep it going?

While teams that run the read option played very well against the Packers last season :gaah:, I would never put money on one of them to win a Super Bowl. Also, while both the Seahawks and 49ers added some quality free agents, that has never proven to be a guarantee of improvement overall. Chemistry also plays a roll.

I can see the Falcons, Texans, Patriots and Broncos in the mix, but I don't see any reason why I shouldn't put my money on the Packers. Matthews' and Rodgers' contracts will not handcuff them yet,a nd the only two quality players they lost last year (Woodson and Jennings) only played a half a season anyway. Also, they get three of their four starting LBs back from IR, among other players, and I am optimistic.

I'd go with Denver. This is of course, assuming that their Safety's learned that Flacco only bombs it to Torrey Smith... or just does their job as a safety in general.

lets see... first time as a starter and in 8 games completes 62.4% of his passes for 1,849 yards and 10 tds. Rushes for 400+ yards and 5 Tds. In the playoffs, he passed for 798 yards for a 9.98 yard average and 4TDs. Also added 264 yards rushing and 3 TDs. His 9.98 average was highest in the playoffs and his 8.32 was highest in the regular season. His regular season completion % puts him at 11-12 with Brady and Dalton. He was a handful of plays away from winning the SB, but the 49ers need to get a new QB.
