What would it be??

Personally, it is the Djax drop for me. Djax is a punk, totally agreed. But he performs on the field. He has made 4 different quarterbacks look good. We could have used his talent here, and it is more than just what he does himself, but the command of a defense that he does that allows others to be in better situations to succeed as well. He simply opens up the middle passing routes.

That said, I love the bigger more physical receivers we seem to be going after. I hope we add another one this year in the draft. I hope Matthews continues to develop. I'm not really that sorry to see Maclin go.

Simply put, I think he makes this team better than we are now.

I loved DJAX, even with his attitude. He is a gamebreaker. That said, Chip should have kept it quiet he wanted to move him, and waited for a deal of any kind, but to just cut him really hurt. I would have kept Mac if he took a decent deal, but when he left for a bigger deal, I can't blame him or the Eagles. We do need to draft 2 WRs though. One with a lot of speed, and the other with size. Maybe Agholor in the 2nd? Dorsett or Lockett in the 3rd? I think at this point, chip goes CB in the 1st (Kevin Johnson?), and a S in the 3rd or 4th (Amos?).

The only move that made the team weaker was not signing Maclin.

Signing Murray was dumb.

Our ground and pound is going to be one of, if not the best in the NFL. Murray in this zone, one cut and go run offense -- gonna be nasty with Matthews paired up with him.

Hands down trading for a one legged QB is number 1. Letting go of DJax for nothing is a close number 2.

I feel like he should've gotten more for McCoy. At least an additional pick.

Gotten more!? I think a stud 24 year old backer is plenty for an aging RB who takes too many negatives plays and gets tackles by the breath of a defensive player. I love that trade.

When you take the midnight green glasses off it looks like we traded a perennial pro bowl running back for a good lb coming off his second acl tear.

Runningbacks have become devalued but I find it hard to believe we couldn't get Ryan to throw in a 5th.

It's not as much as the RB position is devalued as it is the combination of Shady's running style and his cap number. RB's who can make yards between the tackles and get you those tuff yards are worth more than RB's who get their yards outside the tackles. The Eagles style of play with both Reid and now Chip are RB friendly when it comes to stats ... but when you look deeper you see that Shady isn't reliable on a down to down basis. He will get you 1 or 2 big runs per game which make the final tally look solid, but on too many carries he gives you no yards or negative yards. Those runs are drive killers ... plus when guys like Shady start to lose their speed and quickness they can't fall back on being between the tackles guys because that's not their thing. I think he's going to find it much tuffer sledding in Buffalo.

1. Djax - I understand why but he was a play maker.
2. Bradford - I worry about the injury history. If healthy this could be one of our best trade ever. If he can't stay healthy if will be one of the worst.

Carey Williams on a one year deal looks fairly enticing on this roster.

I was just hearing a rumor out of Miami that they may have interest in trading for Boykin? Possibly a Dion Jordan move in a mix here?

That would be a bad trade. Boykin has already proven he can play at this level. Not to mention his outstanding Special Teams play.

I always felt Boykin could excel as an outside corner in most schemes. Though, our defense is predicated off having big physical (outside) corners who can jam the WR off the line.

Boykin and a 3rd for Dion Jordan and a 2nd would be nice :D
