I would change most NBA fans moronic perception that players and coaches should be loyal to a franchise. Its a business and the owners will fire coaches or cut players in a heartbeat. Why cant players have that same leeway in their decision making?

Immediately I thought of flopping, over exaggeration of fouls and bitching and whining to the refs between plays.

Then I went to Stern and my biggest current gripe with him is the refs he employs.

In the end I want refs to be held accountable and the number of games they ref and amount they are paid to be based on performance.

oooo or the luxury tax changed to be less strict...or contraction!!!!

For a sport I genuinely enjoy I think I have some major things I would change.

I still stand by the refs.

I know the CBA rules are aimed at increasing parity but in the long run it will only lessen it. Before small market teams could afford to be over a little, now only the super rich can afford it and they will stay over it. A prime example of this is OKC shedding all it's players.

The fact that when shooting %'s go into the tank, all I hear about is what great defense is being played.

The fact is that there is NO DEFENSE ever played in that league, just poor offense. So because the East conference scoring avg. is below 90 points a game, I am to believe it is because of the "furious" defense being played? :laugh3:

The NBA has gotten to soft. I would make the requirements for flagrant 1 and 2s more severe, because right now all it takes is one shove to get ejected. Allow trash talking hand checking etc just make the game more physical.

Making the game more physical = the higher chances of a franchise player getting injured. Too much money invested to have NHL type goons roaming in the NBA.

I am watching the bad boys 89 playoff run. Really sick they only lost 2 games that post season both to the Bulls. Lakers only lost 4, all to the Pistons. Fairly weak league it looks like tbh with either the Pistons or the Bulls going to win it all, whichever came out of the east.

Back to the point, the only D I am seeing being played is either tackling or nothing. Players go drive the paint at will and the only thing that stops them is the occasional body slam, that is not basketball.

Reinstate hand checking.

This was allowed because it seems nobody even used it except a few all time great defensive players.

The fact that when shooting %'s go into the tank, all I hear about is what great defense is being played.

so you want the media to be accountable? LOL GL but I can agree with this one.

This, more physical does not basketball make a sport. Street fighting it does.

I would put 4 officials on the floor and publish grades for how well they make or don't make calls.

What I would really like is impossible at this time, but I would like computer programs or AI's as the refs.

This is completely possible in baseball and yet they struggle just to add instant replay.
