If ND loses, the computers of the BCS will have UF #1 on Sunday. Right now, the computers have Oregon at 7.

I haven't done all the math needed, but it just doesn't look like Oregon can pass Florida without the voters dropping Florida below 6 or so... after beating a top 10 team, I doubt that will happen.

Everyone thinks that the voters will not allow that, but remember that the media has a very limited roll in the polls involved in the BCS.

I don't like it, in fact, I hate it... but if ND loses, I believe Florida will face the SEC Champion.

Me too, it is what it is. UO definitely isn't jumping UF.

^ Right. I don't see it, they would have to seriously sandbag Florida and voters who do that shouldn't be allowed to vote anymore.

Troof. I can't see a world where UO jumps UF at this point. Nor should they.

why not they have the better lose argument from last year

loss to stanford in ot(who played ND#1 team very tough{right bama play #1 real tough is worth something})(lost to washington)

vs florida who lost to georgia (who lost to sc/bama??/){sc lost to flo/lsu/clemson????}

why wouldn't Oregon jump Florida? I don't get it, no one wants to see a another SEC title game, especially if Georgia wins.

Compare the resumes, or just read the post above that bamabear quoted.

Like I said, I don't want to see it either... but it is what it is.

Not gonna happen. UO isn't Bama.

Transitive property doesn't work in CFB like that. I'm not sure how a loss to a 2-loss, #8 team could be viewed as better than a loss to a 1-loss #3 team. Also, check the BCS' computers rankings, they are not impressed either.

UF and Alabama didn't play each other. If they finish 1 and 2 (which I doubt) it would be a great game.

because that was the argument last year....seemed to work last year right(better loss over the more impressive resume and higher computer rank) so i will disagree the transitive property doesnt work that way

UF also hasn't lost to a garbage team. No team deserves to be anywhere close to a NC after that regardless of who they beat.

yes if Alabama wins then maybe Florida has a shot,but what if Georgia wins? They wont want another SEC rematch. Also it would be fitting to see Oregon actually play Georgia after Georgia backed out of our series.
