Pats defense is going to have to show up and make big plays ... again. You can never rule Brady out to come back big. But, in most games that he did, the D held strong and stopped the other team from scoring. That is essential. I'm not buying the "Pats blowout" line.

I picked the eagles in both of their playoff games and i think they have just about no chance in this one. I thought going into SB42 the giants had a chance, mainly because of how well they played in the regular season game.

By point spreads, it would not be a bigger upset, but I think there's absolutely no way it happens, so I would definitely be more surprised than I was after that game if somehow it does happen.

No. Wentz is better.
No. Don't have the cap space.
Unlikely, but the most likely of the three to happen. He's Philly property next season, and you don't give away with your starter coming off ACL surgery.

If someone makes a huge offer to trade for Foles, you *might* see him traded, but IMO it won't happen until after the draft, when they've been able to work out Wentz and figure out where he's going to be in terms of readiness for the start of the season. If Wentz needs more time, you can't go into the start of your title defense season with Nate Sudfeld as your QB. Foles could be next season's Jimmy Garroppolo, in terms of being the"big name" out there at the trade deadline.

Namely, the Eagles are better on both lines of scrimmage, straight across the board. They should win the trenches here. They have a better running game and led the league in time of possession. Most playoff teams are better than the Patriots in the trenches. Pats have a mediocre bunch on both lines... Both Scarnecchia and Patricia have been doing it with mirrors this year.

Eagles get the ball up 14 with 38 seconds left in the half. Drive down and score a FG to go up 17.

Jaguars get the ball up 4 with 1:05 left in the half. Take two kneel downs, get no points, wind up needing a TD instead of a FG to win at the end. And lose.

Their coach is a pussy.
