Those were 2 damn good games both years of that home and home. I was pulling hard for Suh for the heisman that year. Dude manhandled us upfront and did the same thing every game I saw him play in that year.

I think he played it beautifully. That was Nebraska's game plan, and why the game was probably as close as it was to begin with. The scheme of rolling the DEs outside with potential corner help in the flats and trying to have their dominate DTs solidify and rush the interior gave Tyrod fits that we had not seen him have in his career yet. Suh took the weak attempt at a cut block like a man, made sure Tyrod was within his grasp, then charged like a mad man. You can't give up your gameplan and just go charging in from the get go. If he would have given up contain, Tyrod could have juked him out of his shoes and possibly ran it in.

To be clear, I'm still a fan of VT football, just not as much as I was a few years ago when they brought the lunch pale every saturday instead of just sometimes.

I am so glad they changed OC's. That's what's been holding VT back this whole time.
