Better picks:

Nebraska: Jasper Beardsly. They may have been cool at one point, but they are currently irrelevant and only really are funny because of how hopeless they are. Also tell other people to be quiet, and tend to be old-fashioned or just plain old.

Wisconsin: Lisa Simpson. Extremely liberal, but with a surprisingly humanistic stance. Filled with intellectuals who excel at everything, despite the fact that they are surrounded by drunks and idiots. Also, tends to be the center of attention in the B1G, seeing as they are the three time defending champion. A school of overachievers, whose success is young, but sees no signs of slowing.

Illinois: Jimbo Jones. They think they are tough and relevant, but deep down are just raging alcoholics with no direction in their life who continually get beat down by the upper tier teams in the B1G.

Ohio State: Mayor Quimby. They think that they run the B1G, but their love of vices kills their reputation. They win a lot, but nobody truly respects them and their perceived life of glamour.

Michigan State: Sideshow Bob. Always viewed as inferior to their boss and nemeses, they attempt to rise to relevance. While they often seem to be in a position to rise to power, their stupid mistakes and eccentricities forever doom them.

Michigan: Krusty the Clown. Well known and once-respected, their elitism and poor decisions have left them as the butt of jokes. Still a very public presence, they do give us some laughs from time to time, but they are normally self-depricating (Appalachian State, anyone). Also, Brady Hoke looks like he could easily play a fat clown.

Minnesota: Abe Simpson. Much like Nebraska, was once admired and relevant. However, they have been largely irrelevant and a laughing stock since the 1950s. Extremely old fashioned and seemingly disconnected from the world.
