I think the game continuously evolves.
Each generation is better than the next.
I don't even think a guy like Oscar Robertson could play in today's NBA despite him being one of the best players of all time.
That said, Jordan wasn't that long ago, and he was an amazing athlete.
I think where he would really feel it is defensively. He'd be going from guarding guys like Adrian Dantley to Jason Tatum. Ouch.
That said, today's stars play no defense anyway.
Offensively, I think he'd be OK. I don't think he'd be the top player, but in the Top 20.
So you assume that if stars from the past were playing today, they wouldn't take advantage of all of the advances in science, training, etc. that today's players use? Or that they wouldn't adjust to how the game is played now?
